Vendor Fashion Showcase

This year Summer Meltdown is proud to present a Vendor Fashion show. Vendors will get a chance to showcase a few designs/outfits/items on the main stage. This event is free of charge, and of course voluntary. The idea of the fashion showcase is to show a sense of community, support to local artist / independent labels, extra publicity and of course give you a chance to show off your stuff! We really want to try and promote Family, Community and Fashion! Each vendor will be allowed 2-6 outfits (depending on how many sign up for show). Vendors may recruit their own models, or draw from the pool of volunteers. There will be a mandatory meeting Friday evening at the festival (location and time TBA) for models and vendors to go over plans and rehearse the show. The show will be Saturday afternoon on the main stage.

MODELS: whether you are a hippie, a hottie, or neither, volunteer your body to our runway fashion showcase at Meltdown this year. Men, Women, children, and entire families welcome.

There are a few requirements:

1. You must attend a mandatory meeting on Friday evening 8/8/08 (time/location TBA)
- Very important, as this is where you will be assigned a vendor, outfit and line up.

2. Be clean, sober and respectful
- Clean- we understand that we are all camping, we just mean clean-ish.
- Sober- the show will take about an hour of your time on Saturday afternoon. If you can't be sober then, or for that long . . . well, then don't sign-up.
- Respectful- we love your sass, just remember that it is an all ages show!

3. There will be no hair and make-up provided. Bring your own stuff if that is the sorta thing you are into. Please discuss this with your vendor when assigned one.

4. NO SMOKING, DRINKING, or EATING in the clothing. All items must remain in sellable condition and be returned promptly to vendor after the show.
