We're happy to welcome Camp Traction to the Meltdown this year. They are a non-profit organization in support of those who wish to attend and enjoy music events without the use of drugs and alcohol and will have a specified camp location at the fest. We'll be posting more information soon, and the camp location will be indicated in the festival brochure. |
| Kids Activities & Music Workshops |

The Little Seahorse Music Academy, with the help of many Meltdown musicians, will be providing musical workshops and instruction to kids at the Summer Meltdown, and their talents will be featured in a special Main Stage Showcase on Sunday at the festival. Watch summermeltdown.com for more info on the academy and how kids can sign up. We are looking for instrument donations of any type.
Aside from music there is no shortage of
things to do. We have our infamous Imagination
station,
where children have an opportunity to play, learn and create.
Be sure to check out The Green Village, workshops, community
art projects, or The Casbah. Don’t forget about the
river, there is no better place to be after dancing in
the mid-afternoon sun. |

is to be held at the Whitehorse Mountain Amphitheater in
the scenic Cascade Mountain Foothills near Darrington WA.

Don't despair, it's still possible to join us for a special early entry thursday night fan-appreciation set. We will have these golden tickets for sale at the Little Seahorse Benefit this Friday (see above). They are $90 and we accept cash or check (no credit cards).
The ONLY other way to get these tickets is by going out and supporting Meltdown musicians this summer and purchasing meltdown tickets directly from them. Acorn Project, Panda Conspiracy, and the Staxx Brothers all have tickets for sale. We’ll be announcing more bands with tickets soon. Check the Artist Page for links to their myspace and web pages for dates and places to catch them. Prices jump again next month, so get your tickets now!
